First, we want you to know our services are free, and no insurance or payment is needed. Second, your visit is confidential. You have the right to seek medical care regardless of your age.

You Are Not Alone

Learning that you’re pregnant while in school can be very overwhelming. Maybe you’re wondering how you will juggle it all and who will help you. You are not alone.

While being in school and facing pregnancy can be very difficult, it’s not impossible with the right support system and resources. At Women’s Care Center, we are here to help you make an informed pregnancy decision for your future and offer you the support you need. 

Confirm Your Pregnancy 

Though home pregnancy tests are accurate, false results are always possible. To get the most accurate pregnancy test results, wait until after the first day of your expected period.

This waiting time will help give hCG levels enough time to build up and become detectable by a pregnancy test.

Once you’ve confirmed your pregnancy with lab-quality pregnancy testing, an ultrasound is needed to determine important details, including: 

1. Your pregnancy’s viability (if there’s a heartbeat & the pregnancy is progressing)
2. Your pregnancy’s location (whether it’s located within the uterus or not)
3. Your pregnancy’s gestational age (how far along you are)
   

These details will help guide you toward a pregnancy decision and allow you to be alerted to certain complications, such as an ectopic pregnancy, and take immediate action.
