Do I Need an Ultrasound?

An ultrasound is vital to confirming your pregnancy details and safeguarding your health. It’s important not to skip this part of the confirmation process. The three main reasons you will want an ultrasound:

• To confirm how far along you are (gestational age)
• Determine viability (whether the pregnancy has a heartbeat and is progressing)
• Confirm the location of your pregnancy (if it’s located within the uterus)

We can help with a no-cost limited obstetrical ultrasound following positive pregnancy testing results at our clinic.

Will STIs affect my pregnancy?

It’s important to understand that yes, some STIs can be passed from mother to child during pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding. The type of transmission and its impact vary depending on the specific infection. Get tested right away to prevent further infection.

Are Your Services Free?

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

Yes, absolutely. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible at your appointment. Feel free to bring your partner, a friend, or a family member with you to your appointment.

What Are the Abortion Risks?

There are two main types of abortion procedures: medical abortion and surgical abortion. Some of the shared risks of each include incomplete abortion (potentially requiring surgical treatment), infection, heavy/prolonged bleeding, fever, and damage to the uterus.
